Biography | Dr. Idowu is a lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. After graduating as the best student in the Department of Philosophy, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, in 2002, I moved to the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, where I obtained a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy, in 2006. I have since completed my PhD programme at the Department of Philosophy, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.
My areas of interests include logic, African philosophy and Socio-political philosophy. My current research is on democracy and African development When I am not contemplating, I am either playing table-tennis or watching football. |

Research (Completed/ on-going): I am presently working on democracy and
African development. Trying to see why democracy cannot be said to have truly
enhanced African Development, despite huge successes the phenomenon has
achieved in other regions of the world.
