Biography:
Dr Jide Dasaolu is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy, Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago Iwoye Ogun State Nigeria.
Dr Dasaolu has published in various Journals and contributed chapters to Books of Readings in Philosophy. He has equally attended many conferences both local and international. Dr Dasaolu was a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
In Philosophy, his areas of research interest are Ethics, Bioethics, Medical ethics and African Philosophy. In the field of Communication, he has interest in the following areas: Indigenous Communication Systems, Public Relations and Communication theories.
Dr Jide Dasaolu belongs to the following professional bodies: Nigerian Philosophical Association (NPA) and National Association for Promotion of Studies in Arts and Social Sciences (NAPSASS)
Dr Dasaolu holds the following awards: The University Prize for The Best Graduating Student in the Department of Philosophy, 1992. The University Prize for The Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Arts, 1992. The Rotary Club of Gbagada South, District 9110 Nigeria Award of Excellence in recognition of excellent contribution to manpower development in Nigeria, 2005. The Eminient Personality of the Year Award (ACADEMIC), 016 and Pillar of the African Church of Nigeria Ogun Province Award, 2017.
Dr Dasaolu is married to Mrs. Adenike Dasaolu and blessed with 4 Children.

ETHICS, SCIENCE AND BIOMEDICAL TECHNOLOGY. (A book Project)

The book is an introductory text which is meant to introduce readers to what Ethics is and the cleavages that exist between Ethics, Science and Biomedical Technology. It addresses the various ethical issues involved in biomedical technology and scientific discoveries in modern Societies.
