Biography:
Dr. Oyekunle Oluwayemisi Adegboyega is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria. He joined the University, (Ogun State University now Olabisi Onabanjo University) as a Graduate Assistant on 1stOctober, 1996 and rose to the academic rank of a Senior Lecturer.
He obtained Doctorate Degree, Philosophy in 2009, Master Degree, Philosophy 1998 (both from the University of Ibadan) and Bachelor of Arts Degree in philosophy from Ogun State University, now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria in 1995.
Dr. O.O. Adegboyega research focus is in the areas of Socio-Political Philosophy, Philosophy of Human Nature and Metaphysics and has written many papers in these areas. More importantly is his work on Political Corruption and the Crisis of Public Morality in Nigeria.
He is a member of Nigeria Philosophical Association and America Philosophical Association. He has attended and presented papers at both Local and International Conferences. He is currently researching on, the role of philosophy in the development of philosophical ideas.
He was born on 3rdSeptember, 1966. He is married with three (3) children, ages 20years, 16years and 12years respectively.

This book is introductory in nature. It attempt to provide students and researchers a handy text that covers critical issues on the meaning, nature and subject matter of Socio-Political Philosophy, various questions that are usually asked in Political Philosophy and some political theories.
2. Machiavellian Politics and The Crisis of Public Morality in Nigeria (2016, A Book Project)
The book would serve as a guide in political practice and also introduce students of politics and the political elites to the negative implication that the gradual erosion of public morality is exerting on the contemporary Nigeria society. It suggests genuine Participatory Democracy and practical pursuit of moral norms as a solution to political corruption in Nigeria.
