Biography:
Mrs Ade-Ali, Funmilayo Arinola is a Lecturer II in the Department of Philosophy, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree (2nd Class Upper Division) and Master’s Degree in Philosophy from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. Her major area of specialization is Epistemology with Allied Interest in Logic and African Philosophy- the areas in which her teaching revolves around. Mrs Ade-Ali’s research interest is currently on her Ph.D Thesis titled: “Skepticism and the Problem of Epistemic Justification in Contemporary Epistemology”. Besides, she has some quality publications as contributions to Books of Readings in Philosophy as well as a number of Journal Article Publications both in National and International Journals, the latest of which is “Logical Positivism and the Challenge of Epistemic Claims” in International Journal of Humanities and Social Science, 5 (2), 2015 edition.
In this connection, while Mrs Ade-Ali, has attended some National Conferences, she is equally a member of the National body of Nigerian Philosophical Association. On the whole, Mrs Ade-Ali is successfully married to Prof. S. Ade Ali with happily growing children.
