BIOGRAPHY:
Oladipo Olubomehin is a Professor of Economic History at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State. He joined the University in October, 1987 and has devoted himself to teaching, research and administrative duties. He has published in several local and international journals and has had the honour of serving in various capacities including (but not limited) to the following:
• Head, Department of History and Diplomatic Studies between February 2000 – September 2002, September 2004 – September 2008 and from August 2013 to the present time.
• Member, Senate Research Committee
• Editor, Journal of History and Diplomatic Studies from Jan. 2004 to 2014.
• Acting Dean, Faculty of Arts, August 1, 2016 to date

Various aspects of the pre-colonial, colonial and post-colonial Economic History of Nigeria. I have also done research on the history of the Ijebu and Remo people of South Western Nigeria.
