Biography:

James Bamidele Odunbaku was born into the family of Mr.T.O.Odunbaku on 18 January,1969 at Ile-Ife,Osun state.He attended I.M.G. Oje-Igosun Ibadan.After finishing his primary school education,he proceeded to Baptist Boys’ High School,Abeokuta, Ogun State where he obtained his West African School Certificate in 1984.In1987,he got admitted into the ObafemiAwolowo University where he studied Archaeology.He bagged B.A(Hons) with Second Class (Lower Division) in 1990. In 1991,he proceeded to the University of Ibadan where he obtained M.Sc degreein Archaeology.In 1994,he became an Assistant Lecturer at the OlabisiOnabanjo University,Ogun State. In 2007,he bagged his Ph.D in Archaeology and he is the current Head of Department of History and Diplomatic Studies in the Faculty of Arts.

He is happily married to Dr. (Mrs.) OmobolaOdunbaku who is also a teaching staff of OlabisiOnabanjo University,Ogun State.
