Biography:   I was born in Lagos Island, Lagos State, Nigeria on the 8th of May 1950. I attended Several schools in Nigeria for my various educational pursuits before travelling to
Cairo, Egypt to study medicine and Belgrade, Yugoslavia for the specialist Programme. I also undertook further training in Nigeria for the Fellowship
Programmes of the West African College of Surgeons and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. I have held several positions in the
University and the University Teaching Hospital. I completed a four year stint as the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University on the 31st of July 2016.
